Chocolate Truffles
Mari L.B.

What you need:
3 tablespoons of butter
1 (14 ounce) can of condensed milk
¼ cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Optional toppings:
Chopped walnuts, pecans, or pistachios
Chocolate or rainbow sprinkles
Mini chocolate chips
Shredded coconut
What to do:
1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium high heat. Add condensed milk, cocoa powder and vanilla. Whisk or stir until the mixture starts to bubble.
2. Trun heat to low. Cook the chocolate mixture, stirring often, until it is thick and fudgy, about 5 to 10 minutes.
3. Butter an 8-inch square pan. Pour the mixture into the pan. Cover and refrigerate until firm, about 2 to 3 hours (or overnight).
4. To make each truffle, scoop out a small ball of chocolate with a teaspoon.
5. Wet your hands with water, then roll the ball quickly in your hands.
6. Coat the ball in any of the toppings at the top (or any topping you want to try). Place on plate. Repeat steps 4 through 6 for the rest of the batter, rolling each ball in the topping.
7. Serve and enjoy!
